Bethel University's Renaissance program announced the creation of a new country band for the upcoming fall semester, according to a report from mckenziebanner.com.
Randle Currie will serve as director of the Renaissance Country Band. Over a 25‑year span he toured worldwide as Brad Paisley's steel guitarist, appearing on 11 albums that generated 14 number‑one country hits and recording with John Michael Montgomery, Albert Lee and Raul Malo, while touring with Martina McBride and Bryan White.
