The U.S. Military Joint Armed Forces Orchestra & Chorus performed at the Salute to America celebration on July 4, marking the nation’s semiquincentennial, dvidshub.net reported.
The ensemble, which included musicians from “The President’s Own” and the U.S. Army Herald Trumpets, played while the President of the United States delivered remarks and honored distinguished guests such as war veterans, the Artemis II crew, singer Lee Greenwood and Christopher Macchio.
The evening concluded with a patriotic fireworks display over Washington, D.C., accompanied by the full orchestra and chorus, and a photo showed Chief Musician Joshua Arvizu on oboe and English horn with the United States Navy Band.
