Commitment
School purpose and control
We use school-controlled data only to provide, secure, support, and maintain the authorized service, meet legal obligations, and conduct privacy-reviewed work using de-identified, aggregated information. Schools control student records, authorized users, retention, export, correction, and deletion instructions.
Verification in progress
FERPA and COPPA
Students do not create or hold BOOST! accounts. Verified educators and authorized adults operate the service for an approved institution. BOOST! is designed to support FERPA- and COPPA-compliant institutional use under written agreements and direct institutional control; it does not claim government certification.
Foundation implemented
Export, retention, and deletion
Schools can export their records, set retention rules, pause deletion when legally required, and require a separate review before records are removed. Account closure begins with a verified export. Independent verification of backup expiration and deletion by outside services is still required before student data can be enabled.
Foundation implemented
Access and security review
BOOST! uses product permissions, private file storage, audit history, and time-limited support access. Independent security assessment, disaster-recovery testing, and a school pilot are still required before broader student-data release.
Verification in progress
Accessibility
BOOST! is being tested against WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Independent assistive-technology testing is still required before conformance is claimed.
Foundation implemented
AI and outside services
AI and other outside services require school approval, a defined purpose, limited information, and human review. Student information may not be retained by the provider or used to train a general-purpose model.
