The New England Conservatory’s Expanded Education Department has announced that Michele Adams will serve as its inaugural Director of Choirs, overseeing all choral activities aimed at young learners. Official source
In this capacity, Adams will manage the various vocal groups operating under the NEC Preparatory School, guiding participants from early‑year classes through to senior high school. She is also slated to lead the newly formed BSO × NEC Honors Children’s Choir, a ensemble that will receive instruction within the preparatory curriculum and may share the stage with the Boston Symphony Orchestra.
