Band Camp - Assistant Front Ensemble Instructor

REPORTS TO:  Band Director

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  The Cedar Springs High School Marching Band has an immediate opening for a Band Camp Assistant Front Ensemble Instructor for the week of band camp, August 3-7, 2026.    Must be a current employee of EduStaff or willing to become an employee of EduStaff.

Employment will begin August 3, pending completion of Edustaff registration and all required paperwork.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Attendance at band camp

• Assist with show design

• Instruction of fundamental playing skills, show music, marching fundamentals, and show drill

• Creating a positive, while challenging and competitive environment for students to achieve excellence

• Complete all paperwork in a timely fashion

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Extensive experience in front ensemble playing

• Previous successful front ensemble instruction at the high school level

• Extensive knowledge of front ensemble technique and instruction

• Ability to establish working relationships with co-workers and function as part of a cohesive team

• Able to have effective and positive communication with students, staff members and directors

• Responsible, professional, embodies high ethical standards and integrity

Pay will be $13.73 per hour.
