Middle School General Music & Choral Director (6th-8th)

Position Title: Middle School General Music & Choral Director (Grades 6–8) and assistant to the high school choral program.

Location: Clinton Middle School

Reports to: Gene Ray, Principal

Position Summary:

The Middle School General Music and Choral Director is responsible for providing a comprehensive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate music education program for students in grades 6–8. This position includes teaching sixth-grade general music, directing sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade choir. The Middle School General Music and Choral Director should possess basic, but preferred strong piano proficiency, knowledge in the Kodaly method and the ability to inspire students through quality music instruction and performance. The director would also assist in the high school choral program.
