Music Teacher/Choral Director

Sky View Middle School seeks a full time highly qualified music educator with excellent musicianship skills, basic piano proficiency, and a willingness to collaborate with teachers across the Leominster Music Department at various events.  The preferred candidate will teach general music grades 6-8, and chorus grades 6-8. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.

Job Requirements

Teaching Responsibilities may include:

• 6th grade general music

• 7th grade general music

• 8th grade general music

• 6th grade through 8th Grade Chorus - afternoon rehearsals and evening performances.

• Collaborate with Leominster Music teachers to align curriculum.

• Additional stipends may be available for after school music ensemble such as Select Choir

• Chaperone and supervise students on trips and performances including school and district level festivals .
