Everett Crimson Tide Marching Band Drill/Colorguard Instructor

Job Summary:

Color guard Drill for the Everett Crimson Tide Marching Band program for Grades 9-12 will provide Dance Instruction for students with additional opportunities to develop their Dance and Movement skills.

Essential Duties

• Prepare and teach color guard routines and marching drill design

• Develop Dance Technique Program

• Attends all competitions (approximately 4) and home football games as needed by the Marching Band Director

• Attends all rehearsals during the course of the fall season

• Attends Band Camp

• Teaches and dance and movement to the Color guard section of the marching band

Requirements

• 2+ years experience teaching dance technique for marching band Shows

• Ability to stay organized in order to plan events, and assist the Crimson Tide Marching Band Director in all aspects of Running the Dance Movement Section of the Band

• Knowledge of dance techniques and pedagogy as well as modern dance techniques.

• Color guard expertise
