Galaxy Audio has introduced the RM-BT26, a half-rack Bluetooth receiver designed to add wireless audio streaming to installed and portable sound systems.
The receiver is intended for houses of worship, schools, conference rooms, live venues and other shared environments where system operators need to control which devices can connect.
Connections and Pairing
The RM-BT26 uses Bluetooth 5.4 and provides balanced XLR, balanced Euroblock and unbalanced RCA outputs. The connection options support mixers, amplifiers, powered speakers and consumer audio equipment.
Pairing must be initiated with the front-panel button or through a remote contact closure. This prevents devices from connecting automatically without operator action.
A selectable memory function lets operators choose whether the receiver reconnects to the most recently paired device or requires manual selection each time. Galaxy Audio designed the setting for both fixed installations and systems used by multiple people.
The receiver also includes a two-color pairing-status indicator with remote LED support, front-panel volume control and an illuminated power switch. Front or rear SMA antenna connections provide installation flexibility, and a USB-C 5-volt output can charge a connected mobile device.
The RM-BT26 is housed in a half-rack chassis and includes a rack-mount kit for installation in a standard audiovisual rack.
